The policy was updated with a single substantive addition: the Japan jurisdiction-specific section now includes a statement that Stripe may rely on 'public interest' as a legal basis for processing, citing fraud detection and loss prevention as an example. The new text reads: 'In some cases, and as permitted under the APPI, we may rely on “public interest” as a legal basis, such as fraud detection and loss prevention.' All other differences are limited to punctuation changes (e.g., removing periods after 'Learn More' links) and minor formatting/URL adjustments.

The two versions are identical in content. There are no substantive differences, only formatting, typos, or boilerplate. The document text, including all sections, definitions, data practices, rights, jurisdictional provisions, and the US Consumer Privacy Notice, remains exactly the same between the PREVIOUS and NEW versions.
